This condominium unit renovation project strategically spotlights the surrounding landscape as the prominent element of the living experience. The transformation process begins with reconfiguring the internal unit’s boundaries by removing internal walls and facilitating cross-ventilation in each room. This reconfiguration consolidates the living, dining, kitchen, and workspace areas into a single, spacious room, fostering a versatile living environment where residents can appreciate views of both the river and city simultaneously.
Internally, the design serves as a canvas for the picturesque outdoor vistas, employing muted tones of gray and soft beige. The entryway welcomes occupants with veneer wood accents, instilling a cozy ambiance. In the kitchen, a limestone countertop harmonizes with a sizable stainless-steel slab, stylishly blending different textured materials in gray hues. Large-format materials are intentionally selected elsewhere to maintain a clean aesthetic, such as the teak-wood table atop stainless-steel legs and the expansive stone panels framing the television, drawing all attention towards the captivating outdoor scenery.
